Inspired by the wooden shutters found on traditional mountain chalets, La Jalousie reinterprets a familiar architectural element as a modern lighting object. The movable lamellas allow you to control how light escapes from each side, creating constantly changing shadows and a unique atmosphere throughout the room.
Rather than remaining a static lamp, La Chalet invites interaction. By simply adjusting the shutters, you can open the lamp for a brighter, more open appearance or close it to create a softer, more intimate glow. The changing geometry transforms both the character of the lamp and the surrounding light.
The inner translucent diffuser is printed from PETG, allowing warm light to spread evenly while reducing glare. The outer structure is printed from PLA, a biodegradable material selected for its natural matte finish, dimensional precision, and lower environmental impact.
Designed as both functional lighting and decorative object, La Chalet becomes a focal point even when switched off. Its architectural proportions, clean vertical lines, and adjustable shutters make it equally suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, offices, reading corners, boutique hotels, and modern hospitality interiors.
